My name is Javier Eduardo Chavez, I joined The Dynamo Academy in Houston, TX at the age of 11 and played there for 7 years. From this experience I gained a deeper understanding of football and without a doubt the years spent there allowed me to build a solid foundation for all my skills on and off the pitch. My next stop was at The University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley (NCAA – Division 1 University in USA) and as incoming Freshman I was able to start and play every game for the 2020 & 2021 Season earning All-WAC Freshman team awards. After great success I was offered an opportunity to join the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA (NCAA – Division 1 University in USA) where I played for 3 Seasons and earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE). With a lot of playing time and multiple games carrying the captain arm band I look to use the experience earned at the collegiant level to be ready and prepared for what’s to come playing professionally.
